Skiathos GreeceCruise Port Guide
Getting Around from the Port
The tender jetty places you directly in Skiathos Town, making the town center easily walkable for exploration. For traveling further afield, Skiathos offers several options. The local bus service is an economical and efficient choice, running the full length of the southern coastal road from Koukounaries to Skiathos Town. Buses operate at 15 to 20-minute intervals during summer, but be aware they can get crowded, especially between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM when returning to town. Motorbike and car rentals are also available for those who prefer independent travel. Taxis are another option for getting around the island, including to attractions like the Monastery of Evangelistria, located in the hills above Skiathos Town.
