Weather
Syros, the administrative capital of the Cyclades, has a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers between 77–86°F (25–30°C) during the cruise season from May to October. Light clothing, sunscreen, and sunglasses are essential. The stunning neoclassical architecture of Hermoupolis (the largest town in the Cyclades), the Catholic and Orthodox churches side by side on the twin hilltops, and the historic role as Greece's most important 19th-century port make Syros the most architecturally impressive of all the Cycladic islands.
