Soller SpainCruise Port Guide
Getting Around from the Port
Upon arrival by tender at Port de Soller, the most iconic and practical way to reach Soller town is via the historic tram service. The tram operates approximately every half hour, running between the Soller train station and Port de Soller from 7 AM to 8:30 PM. A single journey costs €4, and tickets can be purchased directly on board. While Soller town is only 4 kilometers inland, walking is generally not recommended due to the distance and the limited time available in port.
Attractions and Activities
- Explore Soller Town: Take the scenic tram ride from Port de Soller (€4, ~15-20 min ride) to the heart of Soller. Wander through its beautiful main square, admire the unique architectural buildings, and soak in the atmosphere of this traditional Mallorcan town, which is surrounded by citrus and olive groves.
- Enjoy Port de Soller: Spend some time in the more tourist-focused resort area where your tender docks. Here you can stroll along the waterfront, enjoy the beach, and take in the views of the bay.
- Scenic Tram Journey: The tram journey itself between the port and the town is an experience. It offers picturesque views of the valley and the surrounding landscape, providing a lovely introduction to the area.
